However, there is one universal solution to suit everyone.

Ta da! Enter the anti frizz hair brush! The answer to all of our prayers for straight, sleek and smooth hair!

Why Does Your Hair Frizz Up When You Brush it?

Most conventional hairbrushes as act a frizz brush, rather than an anti frizz brush!

Brushing your hair can worsen the frizziness because the brush damages the cuticle, the outer layer of the hair. Damaged cuticles then absorb more moisture from the air, resulting in frizzy locks.

What Helps Frizzy Hair (And What Doesn’t)?

There are so many hair products available in salons, supermarkets, drug stores and online that claim to cater to frizzy hair. If your hair is prone to frizziness, chances are that you’ve tried countless bottles of magic potions.

You’d probably agree that many don’t actually live up to their claims.  Some can even cause further damage to your hair.

When it comes to washing your hair, you really need to avoid shampoos and conditioners that contain harsh chemicals like sulfur or alcohol. These chemicals strip moisture from your hair, causing it to become even drier and more brittle. Find nourishing formulations that will put moisture back into the hair and smooth the cuticles.

You may also be tempted to reach for the hair straightener or curling wand to fix the problem. But the fix is only temporary. In fact, applying heat to hair that is dry, can worsen the condition in the long term.

Another way people tend to combat frizz is to apply a silicone-based hair product. Again this is a short-term fix.

You really need to get down to the root of the problem (pun intended!).
